Eric H. Kuhrts, Chairman of the Board and Chief Science Officer
Eric is the founder and CEO of five pharmaceutical companies, and is the inventor of over 30 issued and pending patent applications. He has been involved in numerous aspects of management and research related to pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and consumer products for over 18 years. One of his inventions, the Bios® Life2 generated over $180 million dollars in annual revenues (close to $2 billion in sales over a 10 year period) for the Rexall Sundown company’s Rexall Showcase International network marketing division, and paid millions in royalties before being sold for a substantial projected royalty stream. Eric has developed and licensed novel proprietary diagnostic biomarkers, major sports supplement products, numerous over-the counter (OTC) drug products, drug delivery systems, and many new biopharmaceutical formulations in the cardiovascular, and anti-inflammatory area. Eric also has extensive experience in the development of new drugs that require FDA approval via new drug application (IND/NDA) submissions. Eric is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego.
Fred Auzenne, CEO and President
Fred is currently serving as CEO of Sedona Labs, Inc. Fred spent seven years in U.S. Army Intelligence followed by a successful 15-year career in sales and marketing within the casino, pharmaceutical (Merck) and medical device (Medtronic) industries. At Sedona Labs, Fred boosted sales nearly 90% in less than 6 months. He also initiated a successful reorganization and restructuring to improve IT systems, shipping, manufacturing, communications and purchasing. He guided the company through the launch of three new products that are positioned to achieve multi-million dollar sales growth through premier retailers such as Wild Oats, Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Fred holds an MBA from University of Nevada, Reno.
Roger C. Hill, Vice President, U.S. Sales
Roger brings demonstrated accomplishments in strategic sales and marketing productivity to BioNovix. He joins the company from Global Health Trax, a leading nutraceutical manufacturing and wholesale distributor of proprietary health and wellness products where he developed and expanded an independent distributor base of 10,000 in the U.S. and Japan. Previously, he was responsible for $52 million in network marketing revenue as Director of Sales at Acceris Communications. Roger has a bachelors degree in business administration and accounting from California State University San Marcos.
Dave Holker, Vice President, International Sales
Dave brings a wealth of Network Marketing experience to BioNovix. He has been involved within the Network Marketing
industry for over 30 years. In the field, he has built large and successful distributor organizations. On the corporate side, a partial
list of who he has consulted to and/or worked in administrative positions with includes: Forever Living Products, Nature Sunshine
Products, 21st Century Nutraceuticals, Sunrider, Healing America, Body Extreme, and Ztel Communications. Just prior to
joining the BioNovix team, he was Vice President of Sales/Marketing with Enliven International. While serving in that capacity,
monthly sales went from under $500,000 to over $2,500,000 in 14 months. In November 2005, Dave served as the Honorary
Chairman of the First Forum for Globalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine held in Beijing and authorized by the Central
Organizing Committee of the Chinese Government. Dave speak Mandarin Chinese and has a degree in Business Administration
from Brigham Young University.
Reshma Block, Executive Vice President, Director of Operations
Reshma comes to BioNovix with a proven background in both Information Technology management and entrepreneurialism. She has 10 years of successful IT leadership experience with the Intel Corporation where her responsibilities included managing various global engineering teams and large IT suppliers, implementing and managing server solutions and data center technologies in a global 24x7 environment. In addition, she drove key architecture and engineering decisions for Intel’s next generation computing infrastructure for it’s world-wide data centers. Reshma received her MBA from Pepperdine University.
Mark James Smith, CPA, Vice President, Finance
Mark contributes deep experience in corporate and public accounting to the BioNovix management team. He was Director of Finance for Planet Hollywood International for six years where he managed an accounting staff of 45 controllers spanning domestic and international locations. He developed and implemented the company’s primary systems of accounting and financial controls and later played a leadership role in the company’s initial public offering and subsequent bond issue. Previously, Mark was an Audit Manager at KPMG Peat Marwick where he planned and supervised audit engagements and report issuance for private and public corporations in the manufacturing, financial, real estate, and hospitality industries. Mark has a bachelors of science with emphasis in accounting from Arizona State University.
Lisa Peterson, Vice President, Marketing
Lisa brings extensive expertise in consumer products to BioNovix. She has been a leader in transforming businesses and brands in the personal care area as well as the health and wellness industry. Prior to joining the company, Lisa was founder and creative director of a design firm. For over 18 years she and her firm worked with Fortune 500 companies in developing overall positioning and brand architecture. She also directed research in patterning influences, formulated strategic principles and created equity building assets for her clients. Lisa received her BFA from Ohio University.
